Tapestry Fest 2025 was a big success weaving together food, music, and entertainment from around the world.  A celebration of cultures in Henry County.  2025 Live music from Calle Sur and local artists. Cultural representatives and snack samples from: African American, Argentina, Brazil Chile, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, India, Mexico, Nepal, Philippines, South Africa, Sweden, Ukraine, Venezuela!

Founded in 1972 by Jeanne Manford, PFLAG is the first and largest organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) people, their parents and families, and allies.  


PFLAG  Mount  Pleasant  serves  Henry  County  and  the  surrounding  counties  in  Southeast  Iowa.

To create a caring, just, and affirming world for LGBTQ+ people and those who love them beginning here in the Mount Pleasant, Burlington and Fairfield Iowa areas.
